BENJAMIN HARRISON BRIDGE, NOW A ROCK STAR
Last week there was a mysterious announcement by the Virginia Department of Transportation and the Prince George County Supervisors that there would be delays on the Benjamin Harrison Bridge on Wednesday the 18th due to a special event or something like that. On Thursday, the news broke that a rock video had been filmed at or on the Bridge and that the vague announcement about delays was to prevent crowds gathering once they found out what was happening. So now our bridge will be famous!

PRINCE GEORGE ROTARIANS VISIT SITE OF PR0POSED
PUBLIC CANOE/KAYAK LAUNCH.
Prince George Rotarians Lonnie Kitchen, Earl Hale, Carol Woodward and her Aussie, Jack, visited the Appomattox River Regional Park to look at the site for the proposed launch project. Accommpanying them was Keith Rotzoll, Director of the Prince George Parks and Recreation Department. Below are Lonnie, Earl & Keith and at right is "the sandy bottom."
